| BIOGRAPHY

Jörn has been a member of Planning Team at the Greater London Authority (GLA) since 2010 working on the development, implementation and monitoring of the London Plan. He has led on a wide range of policy areas and represented the GLA at public hearings. Over many years he has been leading strategic infrastructure policies and projects largely related to transport, the waterways, flood risk and water management, as well as increasingly industrial land and logistics. He is collaborating closely with London’s local authorities on their plans and has been leading the partnership work with authorities across the wider South East of England.

Jörn is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and a qualified Town Planner from the University of Dortmund in Germany. Before joining the GLA, he worked  on strategic planning, project development and assessment at local and regional authorities, Government and European agencies. In positions at the Environment Agency and the Interreg North Sea Region Programme he was involved in the development and assessment of European collaboration projects.
